Petitions available for ICC trustee election

Petitions for nomination for trustee of Community College District 514 (Illinois Central College) may be obtained from the Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Paula Fraley, Room L420, Illinois Central College, 1 College Drive, East Peoria, IL 61635. The first day to circulate nominating petitions is Sept. 25 for the April 9, 2013, consolidated election.

A minimum of 50 signatures of registered voters residing in the 514 Community College District is needed for a candidate’s name to be placed on the ballot. Completed petitions may be officially returned to the East Peoria Campus December 17-24, 2012.

Illinois Central College trustees hold a six-year term of office, and two positions are currently up for election.
