If you enjoy photography for photography's sake but can't think of anything interesting to shoot, you may want to consider your own city or town. You may find some very interesting things you never really noticed before.

For these photos, I gave myself the assignment of photographing my hometown in a manner of "not the everyday shots that would just show East Peoria". I wanted to challenge myself to show the "character" of East Peoria.
So, if you are really interested in the "art" of photography, challenge yourself to a self-imposed project of your home town.

When you do, practice the Ten Photography Basics you read in earlier posts and you may be surprised at how interesting your photos can be!
