The Metamora volleyball team took down East Peoria on the road Oct. 2, 25-7, 25-15, for coach Karla Bartman's 1,000 win.
Abby Barrow led the team with 10 kills and Taylor Kells had 22 assists.
Barrow and Cassidy Ioerger had two blocks each and Erika Wilson had three aces.
Carrie James had five digs.
The team added win 1,001 Thursday with a 25-21, 27-25 win over Dunlap at home.
The team dominated the Eagles from the get-go and prevented Dunlap from setting up its offense and finding a rhythm.

The team played in the Quincy Tournament Saturday and racked up several wins during the long day.
Metamora beat Kirksville, 25-15, 25-9.
Barrow led the team with eight kills and Kells had 14 assists.
The team then beat Lewiston, 25-14, 25-22 in a game against a quality opponent.
The Redbirds were led by Adkins with 10 kills and Kells with 26 assists.
Wilson had three aces and Wilson had six digs.
The team then lost to Quincy, 25-22, 25-15, and Jefferson City, 25-15, 13-25, 15-6 to finish the tournament.
The team next plays at 5 p.m. Thursday at home against Morton.
