Business Continuity Planning seminar Oct. 24 in Morton

Is your business ready for a disaster?  Almost 40% of businesses will not reopen after a disaster, if they don’t have a plan.  Business continuity describes the processes and procedures an organization puts in place to ensure that essential functions can continue during and after a disaster.

Tazewell County Emergency Management Agency is hosting a Business Continuity Planning Seminar from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Oct. 24 at Heiser Insurance Building, 133 S. Main Street, Morton.  This seminar is free to attend, but space is limited.  Light breakfast will be provided

Presenters will include: American Red Cross, Illinois American Water, SERVPRO, Ameren Cilco, and Envision Insurance.  These presentations will discuss business continuity planning to prevent interruption of mission-critical services, and to reestablish full functioning operations as swiftly and smoothly as possible.
