The Metamora volleyball team scored another win against Pekin Oct. 9 on the road, 25-13, 25-11.
"We have kids that really work hard," coach Karla Bartman said. "We are blessed with kids who really work hard and want to outdo the team that went before them and leave their own mark.
"They are always competing and not just against their opponents. They are always competing against each other and pushing each other to get better."
Abby Barrow lead the team with 11 kills for the game and Taylor Kells racked up 22 assists.
Erika Wilson kicked in 10 digs with Jordan TerBush adding a block and Wilson adding three aces.
"You want to be playing your best volleyball at the end of the season," Bartman said. "Volleyball is a game of momentum and you always want that on our side.
"We want to get prepared to face anybody because we feel like, no matter who we get, we will get their best effort."
