Students in Biology 114 – Environmental Biology will plant trees on the ICC East Peoria Campus. The students will plant some of the 41 trees being planted this fall on the East Peoria Campus. The class will gather near the Visitor’s Parking Lot to learn the basics of tree planting from Genny Gibbs, ICC horticulture technician.
After learning how to plant the trees, the students will gather in small groups to plant an assortment of about 20 young Red Bud, Maple, and Crabapple in the areas near the Visitor’s Parking Lot, Circle Drive, and in front of the Library/Administration Building.
