PCHS announces next superintendent

The Pekin Community High School Board of Education announced its next superintendent in a statement released Monday by Board President Joe Alesandrini.

According to the statement, the board will vote on Tuesday to approve a 3-year agreement with Gary DePatis, who is currently in his 9th year as the superintendent at Greenview Community Unit School District 200.

If approved, DePatis will take over for Paula Davis, who is retiring June 30 after eight years on the job.
