Mark Douglas Carle, 37, of East Peoria, formerly of Plymouth, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in East Peoria.
Born May 17, 1975, in Macomb to Dick and Rose Henson Carle, he married Brandi Perrine Sept. 3, 1999, in Chillicothe. She died Nov. 9, 2006.
Also preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, James and Betty Henson, paternal grandfather, Clifford Carle and two uncles, Robert and Ronnie Carle.
Surviving are his parents, Dick and Rose Carle of LaPrairie; a son, Dallas Carle; a daughter, Cheyenne Carle of East Peoria; a sister, Jennifer (Larry) Modglin of East Peoria; paternal grandmother, Georgia Carle of Plymouth.
He served for six years in the United States Air Force and four years with the United States Army, in which he served in Operation Desert Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He was a graduate of Illinois Valley Central High school in Chillicothe and had attended Illinois Central College in East Peoria.
He was employed at Penske Trucking in East Peoria. He was a member of the Illinois Patriot Guard Riders and the North Pekin AMVETS.
Services were Thursday at the Plymouth Circle Community Center (formerly Plymouth Methodist Church) in Plymouth where visitation was Feb. 6. Burial with military honors was in Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa.
