To strengthen and advocate for health and wellness in the communities we serve, Busey is launching Busey’s Got Heart on Facebook and Twitter in celebration of American Heart Month. Feb. 14-28, connect with Busey on social media to benefit the American Heart Association.
Here’s how it works:
For each new “Like” to the Busey Facebook page or “Follower” on Twitter, Busey will donate $2.Upload a photo of you or someone you know wearing red to raise awareness of heart disease, Busey will donate $2.For each Facebook comment or Twitter reply, Busey will donate $1 (please include #GotHeart).For each share or retweet, $1 will be donated.
Four American Heart Association organizations in Illinois—Champaign County, Decatur, Bloomington and Peoria—and two in Florida—Lee County and Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte County—will benefit because of your involvement. Total donations raised through Busey’s Got Heart will be split evenly among participating organizations.
The American Heart Association is working to make communities healthier by advocating for key issues, such as smoke-free public places; more walkable and bikable streets, roads and parks; better nutrition and high-quality physical education in our schools; and adequate, affordable and available health care for all.
