The Home Builders Association of Greater Peoria has announced its Official Spring Home Show will be held Feb. 22-24 at the Peoria Civic Center. More than 225 companies occupying 450 booth spaces make the show the largest of its kind in Central Illinois. It features everything for the home ... inside and out ... all under one roof!
Exhibitors display a wide range of interior, exterior, home building and home remodeling products and services. This is the largest gathering of area home builders and remodeling contractors you’ll find! Enjoy the “Disc-Connected K9’s” Show … This internationally-acclaimed professional Frisbee dog show is comprised of some of the best Frisbee Dogs on the planet, including nine different World Finalists, including 2010 AWI Disc Dog Champion “Harley” and the 2010 Skyhoundz Disc Dog World Champion “Flash”! All of the shows are family-oriented, carry a message of fun, athleticism, canine bonding and promote dog rescue. Routines are choreographed to music and leave even the oldest of children with a smile on their face and in their heart. All of the performing dogs are “rescue” dogs, meaning they have come from abandoned or shelter backgrounds. Their individual stories are as compelling as their performances, and you will be laughing and cheering in awe at their antics. The Disc-Connected K9’s will perform at 5 and 7 p.m. on Feb. 22; at noon, 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Feb. 23; and at noon and 3 p.m. on Feb. 24. Admission is included with your home show ticket!
Meet Jeff Holper, “The Mole Hunter” …to learn effective, practical ways to remove destructive underground moles from your lawn! The Mole Hunter will have live stage presentations on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m.; on Feb. 23 at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.; and on Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Admission included with show ticket.
A Central Illinois exclusive ... walk through a display home built by Homeway Homes inside the Peoria Civic Center! Tour this home, especially-designed for the show, to gather ideas and information, and ask questions of the builder representatives.
Get Grilling Tips and a Few Laughs from Mad Dog & Merrill, stars of the new tv show, “Midwest Grill’n” …during their five live stage presentations! The Official Spring Home Show is open to the public from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Feb. 22; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 23; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 24. Admission is just $7 for adults, and Senior admission (age 60+) is HALF PRICE! Be sure to bring along the entire family, as kids Under 18 are FREE!
