Lucille Martin

Lucille Martin, 84, of Delavan, passed away at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Pekin Manor in Pekin.

She was born July 27, 1928, in rural Green Valley, the daughter of John Quincy and Florence Ellen Gardner Tompkins. She married Lloyd E. Martin in April of 1947. He preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 2012.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Surviving are two sons, Robert (Karen) Martin of Washburn and Dave (Deloris) Martin of Delavan; one daughter, Beverly (Bill) Rush of Keenes; 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Travis of Delavan; and one brother, Joe (Kim) Goodman of Creve Coeur.

Lucille was a member of the Hopedale Rebekah Lodge and was a distributor for Stanley Home Products for many years.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, at Davis Mortuary in Delavan. Pastor Dan Larimore will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

Burial will be in Mennonite Cemetery in Hopedale.
