FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance teams will visit the Morton Public Library in Morton to answer questions about federal disaster assistance and offer registration services for survivors of the Nov. 17 Illinois tornadoes.
FEMA team hours at the Morton Public Library, 315 W. Pershing St., are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
A FEMA mitigation specialist will also be available to provide homeowners with information and free publications on wind mitigation techniques to rebuild stronger, safer and better.
Survivors do not need to attend this event to register for assistance. Register with FEMA online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 800-462-7585, or register with a smartphone or tablet at m.fema.gov. The deadline to register is Monday, Jan. 27.
