The Mid-West Truckers Association will host their 52st annual Convention and Truck Show at the Peoria Civic Center on Friday and Saturday. This is the 12thyear the Mid-West Truckers have held their convention in the heart of central Illinois.
The Mid-West Truckers Convention and Truck Show is expected to attract 5,000 attendees. The event aims to help truck operators move ahead in a complex market while facing the challenges of changing regulations, increased costs and an unsteady economy.
Truck show attendees will see displays of the newest tractors, trailers, engines, parts, accessories and much more. The show also promises product demonstrations and many door prizes.

The show hours will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday.
Based out of Springfield, Mid-West Truckers Association represents 3,000 trucking companies and 120,000 truck operators in 16 states. The group works closely with all state and federal agencies involved in the trucking industry. It serves on many state, regional and national advisory boards, and is considered a leader in representing the trucking industry in the Midwest.
