  • Miller named finalist of pageant

  • Hillary Miller, age 16, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Illinois Pageant to be held Aug. 2-3 at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.

    The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4-18 and have five different age divisions.

  • Hillary Miller, age 16, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Illinois Pageant to be held Aug. 2-3 at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.
    The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4-18 and have five different age divisions.
    Miller will be participating in the teenage division.
    The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California where she will receive a tour of Hollywood and two V.I.P. tickets to Disneyland.
    Miller’s activities include volunteering at Snyder Village in Metamora, FFA, and St. Mary’s of Metamora youth group.
    She also enjoys hanging out with friends, science, walking her dog and making people happy.
