Habitat for Humanity Greater Peoria will be hosting a donation ceremony for Bosch Tool Corporation’s this Friday, June 20.
The ceremony will be held at 103 Cypress in Morton, IL.
The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Habitat welcomes the community to join us for this special event.
The Bosch Community Fund is donating $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity Greater Peoria Area to help with tornado relief efforts. There will also be a tool donation of $10,000 from Bosch Power Tools North America. The donation will be used for Habitat for Humanity Greater Peoria to start a tool library for the community to borrow tools as well as use in the community for rebuilding efforts.
The day will include guests like Bosch CEO Heiko Fischer, and their Executive team from Bosch Tools and Bosch Garden and Watering business in Peoria. Guest speakers are Mayor Gary Mainer of Washington, Mayor Davis Mingus of East Peoria, and City Manager Tim Gleason of Washington. There will also be a presentation of donations and speeches and Bosch employees will volunteer on the Habitat Veteran Home.
