  • Fourth of July events set in Eureka

  • The City of Eureka will host a full day of activities July 4. The activities will be centered around Eureka Lake with the parade taking place along the streets of the city.

    Several local organizations will present events throughout the day with no admission.

  • The City of Eureka will host a full day of activities July 4. The activities will be centered around Eureka Lake with the parade taking place along the streets of the city. 
    Several local organizations will present events throughout the day with no admission.
    From 6:30-9 a.m. there will be breakfast at the lake pavilion presented by the Sportsman’s Club which will include pancakes, eggs and sausage.
    At 10 a.m. the July 4 parade will take place and presented by the Eureka Business Association. 
    From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. there will be a lunch at the lake pavilion presented by the Lion’s Club and will consist of pork chops, hot dogs and bratwursts.
    From noon-2 p.m. a fishing derby at the lake will take place presented by the Kiwanis. Age groups will consists of 6 and under and ages 7-13. Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish and most fish caught.
    Inflatables at the Upper Park will be from 1-7 p.m. and will be presented by the City of Eureka. Kids can bounce all day for $5 a wristband.
    The lake pavilion will hold the dinner from 4 p.m.-dusk presented by the Lion’s Club and will consist of chicken, pork chops, hot dogs and bratwursts.
    The fireworks will be at dusk and are presented by th eCity of Eureka.
    Vendors and entertainment will also be at the Eureka Lake Park.
