The staff at Mission Mart Morton invite the public to join them on July 23 for the grand re-opening, ribbon cutting and all around celebration at Mission Mart.
The expansion of Mission Mart Morton more than doubles the showroom space of the previous store and is in direct response to community support.
“We are very grateful to both our shoppers and our donors for loyally patronizing the Mission Mart and making this expansion possible. Everything, from donations to proceeds, stays right here in central Illinois to support South Side Mission’s ministry to the poor of our community,” said Melody Church, associate executive director of retail ministries.
The Morton Chamber of Commerce as well as many community well wishers and shoppers will be enjoying the expanded shopping area and increased offerings at Peoria’s home grown Mission Mart.
Mission Mart Morton joins the other retail locations of South Side Mission; Pioneer Parkway and in Sterling Avenue in Peoria.
Mission Mart is a ministry of South Side Mission and helps to support the work of serving the poor.
The Lighthouse on Laramie has been changing lives in the community since 1925.
