A former El Paso man faces up to seven years in prison after a Woodford County jury convicted him last week of arson.
James Armstrong, 43, had been accused of pouring gasoline over his estranged wife's minivan and lighting it on fire June 28, 2010, as it sat in the driveway of her El Paso residence.
Arson is a Class 2 felony. Armstrong also is eligible for probation. A prison sentence also would have a two-year period of mandatory supervised release.
Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 18.
