EUREKA — James A. Grendel, 61, of Eureka, died at 9:35 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at his residence in Eureka.
Born Dec. 28, 1949, in Bloomington, to John and Mary Davis Grendel, he married Denise Hale May 26, 1977, in Eureka. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Amanda (Jesse) Shreve of Roanoke; and one aunt, Annette Grendel of Roanoke.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Grendel.
James was employed at ADDWC in Eureka for over 35 years.
A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Roanoke Township Cemetery.
