Eureka – Kevin P. Brady, 65, of Eureka, died at 4:53 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Oct. 29, 1946, in Chicago, to William and Gertrude Smith Brady, he married Gail Ann Sautkus on Dec. 10, 1971, in Chicago. She died Feb. 25, 2009.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam (Vince) Hummel of Normal; Sheri (Justin) Zobrist of Congerville; and Lori Brady (A.J. Walters) of Washington; four sons, Chris (Catie) Brady of Irvington, N.Y.; Jeff Brady (fiancee Lexi Boykin) of Bloomington; Mike Brady of Roanoke; and Joe Brady of Eureka; one brother, Dennis Brady of Chicago; one sister, Maureen (Ted) Plonis of Evergreen Park; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant daughters and one brother.
Kevin worked for Roadway Trucking Co. He also had worked at Seng and at Keebler in Worth.
He was an Army veteran serving his country with the military police.
Kevin was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Eureka where funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 23. The Rev. Eugene Radosevich will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and from 9-10 a.m. on Monday at the church. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Metamora.
