Week in religionCatholic bishops ended a two-week summit in Rome last week without coming to an agreement on the church’s teachings regarding gays and lesbians.At the summit, organized by Pope Francis, the bishops were divided as to whether or not the church should support same-sex unions and whether the church should change its position to be more welcoming to gays and lesbians.
