Nick Guerra, Morton, Sr., 1B/RHP: Player of the Year and Maryville commit had a .529 batting average with 55 hits, 13 doubles, six triples, seven home runs and drove in 37 runs. On the mound, he finished with a 6-2 record and 1.57 ERA for the Potters (27-9).
Andrew Pogue, Dunlap, Sr., RHP/CF: Illinois-bound right-hander finished 7-0 with 37 walks and 90 strikeouts over 60.2 innings while posting a 1.50 ERA. He helped the Eagles (27-6) advance to the supersectional after a 13-strikeout outing in the sectional championship win over Galesburg.
Mike Dunne, Limestone, Sr., LHP/CF: Extremely well-rounded player who was dangerous on the mound and at the plate. He finished with an 8-1 record with 26 walks, 73 strikeouts and a 1.21 ERA over 57.2 innings. Dunne batted .312 with two home runs and 15 RBIs while walking 26 times for the Rockets (19-11).
Connor Aten, Galesburg, Jr., RHP/CF: Aten was selected to the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association all-state first team after finishing with a 10-1 record on the mound. The right-handed Bradley commit had 101 strikeouts and 20 walks in 62.1 innings of work with a 0.67 ERA. He had a .393 batting average with 42 hits and 20 stolen bases for the Silver Streaks (29-8).
Nathan Righi, Pekin, Sr., RHP/3B: University of Illinois-Springfield commit was dominant on the mound, finishing 6-0 with 16 walks, 96 strikeouts and a 0.94 ERA over 67.3 innings. He batted .373 with 31 hits, 17 singles, eight doubles, one triple, four home runs and drove in 17 runs for the Dragons (15-9).
Taylor Catton, Dunlap, Sr., RHP/2B: Bradley commit was a force to be reckoned with for the Eagles this season. The first team all-stater finished 8-0 with 13 walks, 87 strikeouts and a 1.01 ERA over 62 innings. He batted .315 with 29 hits, 22 singles, five doubles, two home runs and drove in 23 runs for the Eagles (27-6).
Charlie Hodges, Delavan, Sr., RHP: The right-hander put together a stellar season as he finished with an 8-1 record and a 0.79 ERA after walking 12 and striking out 110 batters over 53 innings. Hodges posted a .421 batting average with 24 hits, 16 singles, five doubles, one triple and two home runs, while driving in 19 runs for the Panthers (11-6).
Noah Matheny, Galesburg, Jr., 3B/RHP: Matheny was a workhorse in the postseason as he hit home runs in the regional semifinal, regional championship and sectional semifinal to spark the Silver Streaks (29-8). Behind Connor Aten, he was the second best pitcher in the rotation and pitched 6.2 strong innings in a sectional championship loss to Dunlap.
Ryan Vogel, Metamora, Sr., CF/SS: Bradley commit batted .439 with 43 hits while driving in 11 runs. Vogel had eight doubles, two triples and scored 22 runs for the Redbirds (16-16). The versatile Vogel played both the outfield and infield.
Brady Krile, Eureka, Sr., SS/RHP: Missouri-St. Louis commit was lights out on the mound this season after finishing with an 11-0 record with 13 walks, 113 strikeouts and 0.42 ERA over 65.2 innings. He batted .370 with 37 hits, 25 singles, eight doubles, four triples and drove in 22 runs for the Hornets (25-8).
