Heartland Bank and Trust Company announced the promotion of Lucy Moyer as vice president of mortgage lending. Moyer is now located at Heartland Bank’s 9010 N. Allen Road office and will serve the lending needs of the Peoria, Metamora, and Germantown Hills communities. She is responsible for assisting customers with residential lending needs including new home mortgages, mortgage refinancing, second mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit.

Moyer joined Heartland Bank in 1999 at Heartland Bank’s Customer Care Center in Bloomington. She has gained additional experience with the bank throughout her career as a personal banker, loan officer and branch manager in the Bloomington, Washington, Germantown Hills, and Metamora communities. Throughout her 12 years at the bank and 25 years in the financial services industry, Moyer has worked closely with local customers.

Moyer attended Illinois Central College, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Goshen College in Goshen, IN. She currently serves as President-Elect for the Metamora-Germantown Hills Rotary, and is actively involved at Living Faith Fellowship Church. Moyer, a Washburn native, currently makes her home in Metamora with husband, Dean.

Jessica Hilst has been promoted to branch supervisor at the 105 N. Menard St. location in Metamora, and replaces Moyer in that position. Hilst will be responsible for overseeing daily sales and customer care activities at the branch.

Hilst joined Heartland Bank in 2005, and most recently served as teller supervisor for the bank, but has also gained experience as a teller, personal banker, and quality control associate. She is a graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in business administration. Hilst currently serves as Secretary for the Metamora Area Business Association and participates in many local community events with this organization. A Metamora native, Hilst now makes her home in Germantown Hills with her husband, Patrick and their two children.
