The twinkle in Jim Maloof's eyes is apparent as he receives a hug, last night, at a reception in honor of his 90th birthday.

Former Peoria Mayor Jim Maloof's 90th birthday was celebrated last night at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. About 300 people came to the celebration, which included a half-hour performance by the Peoria Ballet. The event was a fundraiser for the Peoria Ballet.
