The November meeting of the GFWC Il Metamora Woman's Club will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 15th, at the Metamora Christian Union Church.

The program for the evening will be presented by Mrs. Heidi Malone, a well-known local artisan, who will speak and demonstrate the art of dyeing, spinning and weaving. Women of the community are cordially invited  to the meeting and program, and guests are always welcome.

Members are reminded to bring their baked goods-muffins, coffeecakes and breads, etc., to the meeting that night for American Education Week.

They will be distributed to our hard-working teachers in area schools the next day. Special values from Tupperware are being offered by Ruth Inman and can be ordered that night or from members. Inman plans to be at the meeting to show the special sale items. A portion of the profits is being donated to the club for their charitable endeavors by Inman.

They will be ordered right after Nov. 15th, and will be here in time for the holidays as.

The Art Dept. also reminds members that 30 aluminum pie are still needed for a grade school art project, as well as both large and small metal coffee cans needed for a special project at the grade school. The club continues to collect and recycle prescription bottles, pop tops from  aluminum cans, Campbell's Soup labels, Boxtops for Education, used eyeglasses and frames, manufacturers' coupons, (even expired ones up to six months old), and also cancelled postage stamps. These may be brought to the regular meetings or there are also collection bins at the local Curves Club in Metamora.
