Who, at this time, do you think will win:

A. President - Obama

B. 18th Congressional District - Schock

C. Peoria County State’s Attorney - Lyons

D. 92nd District -  Krupa

E. Coroner -  Ingersoll

Was the presidential campaign, in your view, a clean one or a dirty one?

“It was pretty clean, but I think the media might have made it more dirty than it would have been otherwise.”

Why do you say that?

“Particularly comedy sketches centered in on negative things with the Republican candidates more than with the Democrats. That’s frustrating.”

What about the Peoria County States Attorney race?

“I think it was clean until the end.

Why do you say that?

“The whole press conference days before the election thing was not called for and was a political move.”

Do you vote on a regular basis?

“I have voted in every election since I was 18 years old, local, state and national.”

Did this election on a national level excite you?

“Yes and no.”

Why/ why not?

“I am always excited about opportunities to express my opinion through voting. But, as with other elections, I think it is very difficult to have my voice heard.”

Did any of the local races energize you?

“I am excited about Aaron Shock as a candidate.”

If so, which one(s) and why?

“He is a young man with great potential and it is fun to see him run a clean campaign, respectful of the other candidate and to just be a normal human being.”

Party affiliation - None

Who, at this time, do you think will win:

A. President - “Obama, as much as I hate to say it.”

B. 18th Congressional District - Schock

C. Peoria County State’s Attorney - LaHood

D. 92nd District - Gordon

E. Coroner - Ingersoll

Was the presidential campaign, in your view, a clean one or a dirty one?

“Truth is truth. I never feel it is dirty or clean if a candidate’s REAL life is revealed. I wanted Obama challenged more — his relationships with Muslims and terrorists, his feelings about the Constitution and so many other things.”

What about the Peoria County States Attorney race?

“It was childish mainly. Not once did these states attorney potential really get into what they would do to make this town safer. They would rather have ‘hissy’ fits.”

Do you vote on a regular basis?

“I vote every election.”

Did this election on a national level excite you?

“No, no excitement. If I see Obama run up one more flight of stairs I will puke. McCain should get a tan. Obama scares me more than anything. I never saw a candidate with more holes in his makeup.”

Did any of the local races energize you?

“No, it was all petty stuff — typical of politics in Peoria.”
