Tiny Tots winners announced

The GFWC Illinois Metamora-Germantown Hills Junior Woman’s Club announced the girl winner of the 2010 Tiny Tots Contest, held during Old Settler’s Days. First place girl award for the greatest number of votes goes to Anna Marchand, the daughter of Patrick and Holly Marchand of Metamora, with 14,013 votes. She will receive a $50 savings bond, compliments of the Junior Woman’s Club. All 20 semifinalists received a Dairy Queen treat from the Metamora Dairy Queen. A total of $805.00 (reflecting 80,500 votes) was received in the final voting. These funds will go towards the Epilepsy Foundation North/Central Illinois.

The first place boy award with the greatest number of votes went to Frank Sokol, son of Frank and Dee Sokol of Germantown Hills, with 22,625 votes. 

They will receive a $50 savings bond, compliments of the Junior Woman’s Club.
