Digital Photo Workshops Return to Eureka Library
Successfully learning to use a popular online photo editing website will be the goal of a three evening series of workshops at the Eureka Public Library Sept. 7.
Professional photographer Jeff McSweeney will work with workshop participants as they work with their own vacation and family photos in Picknik. Cost for the series of workshops is $25.
Picnik provides a variety of editing tools for free, as well as an expanded version of tools for a small yearly fee.
Editing options within Picnik include resizing, cropping and rotating pictures, adding text and border designs, and fixing some errors within digital photos. Those participating will need to be familiar with using a computer and have pictures available to work with on their own laptop, or a jump drive. Limited laptops will be available at the Eureka Public Library to those in the workshop if needed.
Classes will start at 6 p.m. on Sept. 7, 21 and Oct. 5.
Call the Library at 467-2922 for additional information.
