Woodford County polling places were busy on election day with a voter turnout exceeding 50 percent.

A total of 14,146 votes were cast out of 25,333 registered voters - or a 55.84 percent voter turnout for the Mid-term Election.  

Predictably, the top vote getters in almost all races in Woodford County were Republicans. The one exception was the race for Illinois Secretary of State. Democrat incumbent Jesse White garnered 7,349 votes in Woodford County compared to his Republican challenger Robert Enriquez who garnered 5,979 votes.
