Taste of Technology at Eureka Public Library

On Dec. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. and again from 4 to 6 p.m., the Eureka Library will be holding “open house” style sessions featuring some of the new “technology toys” that have been making their way into the library during the past few months.

On hand will be Nook and Kobo eBook readers, Flip video cameras and a negative/slide scanner that allows the images to be loaded on to a computer, or transferred to a jump drive or CD.

Library staff will be available to show anyone interested how the various items work and which ones are currently available for check-out from the library.
