A Bark for Books Read-Aloud will be held at the Eureka Public Library 10 a.m.-noon. April 9.

Readers in grades 2 through 5 can read out loud for 15 minutes to a trained dog. Dogs will be provided by WOOF, a new Woodford County organization of therapy dogs and their owners. Readers need to bring their own book and be prepared to read out loud.

Pre-registration is required and can be made at the desk in the children’s library.  More information is available by calling the library at 467-2922.
