In a two evening workshop sponsored by the Eureka Public Library, participants will make their own knitted bag, complete with long shoulder straps to use as a shopping bag, summer carry-all or swim gear catchall.

Classes will be May 16 and 23, with knitting instructor May McSweeney.

Cost for the workshop is $15, payable in advance at the Library.

Class size is limited to the first 10 people who sign up.

Participants need to know how to knit and purl. Pictures of the finished bag, as well as a supply list are available at the library.

Call the library at 467-2922 for additional information or to register for this workshop.
