Knitting classes coming to Eureka Library

Knitting instructor Mary McSweeney will be teaching knitting classes at Eureka Public Library beginning on June 16th.

The classes will cover casting on, knitting, purling, increasing and decreasing, reading patterns and any questions new knitters might have. Questions are encouraged, as are new patterns and suggestions.

The classes will begin at 6:30 pm on three Thursdays, June 16th, 23rd and 30th.

Supplies needed are a set of size 8 knitting needles and “Vanna’s Choice” yarn, with both items being available at Wal-Mart.

The cost for all three classes is $25. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.
