Taste of Morton moved to Friday

Due to the forcasted inclement weather, the second annual Taste of Morton has been moved from Thursday to Friday at the Field Shopping Center, 2135 S. Main St.

Eleven local eateries are participating in this year's event from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Participating restaurants include:

Qdoba — Chips and three Cheese Queso

Papa Murphys — Gourmet Chicken Garlic Pizza

Great Harvest Bread Co. — Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

RMH Foods — Pot Roast and Gravy, Sweet and Spicy Chicken with Rice

The Confectionary — Cherry Pie and Pecan Roll

Paddy O’Flaherty’s — Reubens and Bread Pudding

Mama Rae’s — French Toast Sticks and Free Popcorn

Heritage Farmers Market — Pulled Pork, Pork Burgers, Chicken and Ham Salad

Main Street Deli — Italian Beef and Chili

Chamber of Commerce — Pumpkin Ice Cream

Club Sooie and Morton High School Football Team — Hot Dogs and Popcorn

Tickets are $1, $2 and $3, with no food item costing more than $3.
