Eureka Library offering knitting classes
Knitting instructor Mary McSweeney will be teaching knitting classes at Eureka Public Library beginning on June 16.
The classes will cover casting on, knitting, purling, increasing and decreasing, reading patterns and any questions new knitters might have.
Questions are encouraged, as are new patterns and suggestions.
The classes will begin at 6:30 p.m. on three Thursdays, June 16, 23 and 30.
Supplies needed are a set of size 8 knitting needles and “Vanna’s Choice” yarn, with both items being available at Walmart.
The cost for all three classes is $25.
Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.
