Despite the continuing downturn in the housing market, Jim Maloof / Realtor® reports it saw an increase in home sales during 2011 with sales volume eclipsing $333 million.

This raised the company’s market share to 29 percent — an increase of 2 percent over 2010.

“Although area home sales overall are down, those who are selling their homes through Maloof increased,”

said President Michael Maloof.

“While we have been the number one Realtor for years, this increase in sales volume and market share show that when people are looking to buy or sell a home, more and more, they trust Maloof to make it happen.”

Jim Maloof / Realtor® has been in the business since 1969 when it was founded by Jim Maloof.

Today, Jim Maloof / Realtor® is central Illinois’ largest independent Realtor with 16 branches in six counties and employs over 200 agents and support staff.
