The Peoria Riverfront Museum will work with the Central Illinois Artist Organization to create an exhibit featuring local artists for the grand opening of the facility. The CIAO exhibit will be open to the public from Oct. 20 through March 3, 2013. The exhibit will expose the work of selected artists in the Tri-County Area to thousands of visitors.

“Moving to the riverfront is a wonderful opportunity to work with our neighbors and create a dynamic exhibit to support arts initiatives in Peoria, encouraging wide-spread support of local artists and art activities,” said Jim Richerson, Peoria Riverfront Museum President  CEO.

Interested artists will be required to submit an application and image(s) of their work to CIAO by April 30 to be considered for the show.  Selections will be made and artists notified in May. For more information regarding the application process, contact Doug or Eileen Leunig at invitational@ciaopeoria.com.
