The Pet Pantry, in cooperation with the Morton Park District, announces the Fifth Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs to benefit Foster Pet Outreach.

This year’s event will be held April 14 at the Oakwood Dog Park on North Main Street in Morton.

The public egg hunt session will be held from 1-3 p.m. April 14, with a private “RSVP only” session held earlier that morning.

The private session is open to anyone who pre-registers their dog through the Pet Pantry website.

Admission is $6 per dog with all proceeds going to Foster Pet Outreach.

Each Easter egg contains prizes, redeemable that day for treats, food samples, coupons, and gift certificates.

“We are so pleased that the Morton Park District is once again allowing us to utilize their wonderful dog park to raise money for Foster Pet Outreach through this unique event,” Bill Hantak, owner of the Pet Pantry, said.

“Last year’s event was a big hit, and we want to make this year’s even bigger. Once again, this year’s event will be held the Saturday after Easter (so we’re not competing with all the egg hunts for kids).”

Any other businesses wishing to get involved with this year’s event (and for more information on the Easter Egg Hunt) should contact Bill or Sue Hantak at 383-4145.
