MTHS choirs put on Coffee House Night

Adam Larck

The Metamora Township High School Choirs will be hosting a Coffee House style performance at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Old Gym.

The event will feature various music groups ranging from pop music, jazz, classical and Broadway.

This third annual spring event consists of students from all of the choirs. The idea began as creating another opportunity for students to be introduced to music that they may not get to perform in the classroom choirs.

Many of the students at MTHS love music, and this will be another opportunity for them to showcase their talents.

The event will also feature Chris Mangold, playing some Celtic music, Curt and Anita Rowden, some soloists from area junior high schools, and a few other events throughout the evening.

This performance will be free to all, and will have cookies, brownies, and cupcakes, along with a coffee bar with various toppings for the coffee, lemonade, and water available.

We hope that the community will come and join us in the Old Gym for a night of relaxation and fun.
