Benefit for Jude Hill scheduled for Aug. 27
A benefit will be held for Jude Hill of Germatown Hills 5-8 p.m. Aug. 27 in the Monte Christo Room, 387 Old Germantown Road.
In June, Hill was severely injured in an accident when he came in contact with a riding lawn mower at his home.
The accident resulted in the amputation of his left leg and right foot. Hill spent 28 days at the children’s Hospital in Peoria and went through four different surgeries.
As Hill progresses through extensive therapy and rehabilitation, there will be mounting financial needs for his family.
Donations can be made out to the Jude Hill Benefit and auction items can be dropped off at Michael’s Italian Feast or State Farm in Germantown Hills.
A buffet with spaghetti, subs, garlic bread, salad and drinks will cost $10 for adults and $7 for kids ages 4-10. Dine-in or carry-out will be available.
The Zoo Lady Face Painting crew will be there along with Unique Twist Balloon Artist and a Germantown Hills fire engine on display.
