EUREKA — Doris L. Guingrich, 93, of Eureka,  formerly of rural Sparland, died at 12:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at Eureka Apostolic Christian home where she was a resident.

Born Oct. 3, 1916, in Roanoke, to Benjamin and Tillie (Schumacher) Fehr, she married Edward W. Guingrich Feb. 9, 1936, in Peoria. He died Sept. 3, 1996.

Surviving are three daughters, Carol (Harold) Hohulin of Goodfield; Judith Cottrell of Eureka and Rebecca (Dennis) Pyles of Sparland; five sons, Wayne of Peoria; John (Gwen) and Norman (Cheryl) of Chillicothe; Daniel (Sandy) of Indianapolis, Ind. and David of Peoria; two daughter-in-laws, Nancy Guingrich of Peoria; Sandy Guingrich of Mason, Mich.; one brother, Bill Fehr of Roanoke, two sisters, Bena Mae Rocke and Lois DesCarpentrie, both of Eureka; 36 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren; and 19 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Richard and Larry, and three brothers, Isaac, Edward, and Benjamin Fehr.

She was a member of the Eureka Apostolic Christian Church. She previously attended and was a member of the Bradford Apostolic Christian Church.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at the Bradford Apostolic Christian Church. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and from 9- 9:45 a.m. Thursday before the service at the Bradford Apostolic Christian Church. Burial will be in the Bradford Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
