EUREKA — Angela A. Luckey, 68, of Eureka, died at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Home where she was a resident.
Born Feb. 20, 1942, in Streator, to Theodore and Mildred O’Brien Cassidy, she married Ralph Luckey on June 24, 1961, in Steator.
Surviving are two sons, Ted (Lynn) Luckey of Rock Falls; Eric (Erin) Luckey of Eureka; one brother, Robert (Margaret) Cassidy of Dunlap; two sisters, Mary Cassidy of Toluca and Denise (Mitch) Barach of Plainfield; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She owned and operated Pomerenke’s Sweet Shop in Wenona for many years, retiring to Eureka to be near her grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke. The Rev. Dr. David Armstrong-Reiner will officiate. Public visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the funeral home. Following the services cremation rites will be accorded and burial of ashes will be at a later date in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Toluca
