LETTER: Correction needed

Staff Writer
Woodford Times

I believe you need to run a correction regarding your article about the $141,000 spent on attorney’s fees.

Even though in the text it says the time period in question was 2004-2009, which is correct, the first several sentences imply or state out right that this amount was spent “over the past four years.”

Your first heading says “What does Germantown Hills spend on attorney fees?”

It should have read “What DID Germantown Hills spend....”

This is a striking difference that needs to be emphasized.

The problem occurred under the former mayor’s watch and it is extremely important for people to know that good changes occurred when the new mayor was elected, at the same time that new board members were elected.

Thank you,

Melanie Meismer
