In a match between the two top teams in the Mid-Illini Conference, and two of the top teams in the state, Morton beat Metamora, 5-4, at Metamora Tuesday. Maddie Anglin had three hits and three RBIs to lead Metamora to a 6-4 win over Morton at home Tuesday.

Metamora and Pekin played to a 2-2 tie Tuesday at Pekin. Kristin Rauh and Brittany Johnson scored for the Redbirds, who are now 3-0-1 in the conference.
